Incredible Custom Electric Motorcycles

You may also like

From sleek cafe racers to futuristic cruisers, electric bikes are getting a lot of attention from custom builders. The custom electric motorcycle offerings being served up are sure to get anyone’s appetite, possible even the most hardened petrol smelling junkie.

Sure, the battery pack range might not be as impressive as a gas tank, but who needs to go cross-country when you can impress your fellow city slickers with a silent ride? And don’t worry about charging stations being scarce; soon, they’ll be more common than your local hipster coffee joint.

Custom builders are already getting their hands on electric bikes, with Zero models leading the charge until Harley-Davidson’s LiveWire gains more traction.

So, if you’re ready to join the electrified revolution, check out these electrifying custom bikes that’ll have you feeling like a superhero riding on lightning.

Huge X Zero

The Huge X Zero custom electric motorcycle is like the love child of a futuristic robot and a sleek sports bike. It’s got all the best components, including Ohlins suspension, Pirelli supermoto tires, Excel rims, Beringer controls, and even thermoplastic PMMA engine guards (whatever those are). But what really sets it apart is its edgy design, with a two-piece ABS thermoplastic body that looks like it was designed by Tony Stark himself.

Riding this bike is like being a part of an elite club, but without all the stuffy rules and boring meetings. With a range of 110 km and a top speed of 105 km/h, it’s perfect for zipping around the city, showing off to your friends, or outrunning the paparazzi. And let’s face it, with a bike this cool, you’re bound to attract some attention. So, if you want to ride into the future in style, the Huge X Zero is the way to go.

Huge Moto Zero FXE

Zero proved they were ahead of the game by joining forces with Huge Moto and loaning them a 2018 FXS to tinker with. After seeing the magic Huge had worked on a Honda CBR, Zero knew they had found their design soulmate. The result of their collaboration was the Zero FXE, which showcases an unparalleled design style.

The two-piece ABS thermoplastic body/tank/tail is reminiscent of Husqvarna’s Vitpilen, which we think is pretty cool, and catches your eye from a mile away. The supermoto seat blends seamlessly with the body, while the smooth and flat surfaces make you forget about those clunky engine components you see on gas-guzzling bikes. The little touches, like the red and silver air intakes around the motor, give it a little extra oomph. And the supermoto rims and tires make this electric babe a thrill to ride on the streets. Although we gotta admit, we’re not thrilled about the belt drive that Zero decided to stick with instead of opting for a chain conversion. Belt drives can be a real pain in the butt for Zero owners. And that headlight section? We can’t help but think it looks like it’s from some weird Eyes Wide Shut cosplay. But hey, different strokes for different folks. Overall, the Zero FXE is a worthy addition to the e-motorcycle game.

JVB Moto Harley Davidson LiveWire

So, the custom Harley LiveWire has been out for a while now, but it seems like not everyone is willing to sell their kidneys to afford the hefty $35,000 price tag. And who can blame them? Add the $60k+ customizing cost, and it’s not exactly pocket change. But fear not, our dear reader! Harley heard our cries for a more affordable LiveWire, and they enlisted the help of the folks at JVB-Moto.

And boy, did they deliver! JVB-Moto is known for creating some badass custom motorcycles, and they brought that same energy to this LiveWire. They’ve smoothed out the body and tail, giving the bike a more muscular look. The matte black faceplate framing the round headlight is a nice touch, making the bike look more street-ready than Harley’s tiny fairing. And let’s not forget about the gorgeous turquoise color that ties the tank and frame together – it’s like they were made for each other.

JVB-Moto didn’t stop there, though. They removed some of the plastic fairings on the frame, added Blaze spotlights behind the forks, and gave the tail section a beefier look. The result? A bike that’s as imposing as a wrestler on steroids. And the solid wheels? Well, let’s just say they complete the picture like bacon complements eggs.

But here’s the kicker – JVB-Moto is only producing a limited run of these bikes. So, if you’ve got the cash and the need for speed, don’t waste any time. Go get yourself a piece of motorcycle history before it’s too late.
